Hello hello! Today's weather is full of win, dark clouds, and actually some rain? Okay California, be weird! So I was starring at my new boohoo booties that just arrived in the mail and I though to myself "WOW I LOVE SHOES" and then I looked up more Shoe Collection videos on youtube and I hope to have 40 pairs of shoes one day. Right now I only have like 8 pairs, so I just couldn't help searching all my favorite online stores and drooling over their shoes, while I was full of guilt that I just spent an hour looking at shoes, I remembered I had a blog and I could pretend that I used that time "for research" for a shoe type post. So yes, I'm going to lie about my shoe addiction and just say I did it for you guys!
So let's all drool and cry over these amazing shoes that are causing me heart ache over the fact I don't own them! I tried to only pick 5 pairs of shoes because I knew picking 40 would be a little too much haha
#1 has to go to these Jeffrey Campbell Platform Sandals from Nasty Gal
http://nastygal.com/shoes-platforms/jeffrey-campbell-cake-platform-sandal

Flux and Flow
Hello hello! Yay, I'm super duper happy to be blogging right now because honestly I've missed it, well, actually I don't think I've ever really "blogged", like I still don't understand it completely but today I just feel like it "feels" right, ya know? No? Well, moving on now haha today has been good, took a walk and got some new extensions (yippie!) by http://cliphair.co.uk/ ! I'm really happy with them because they make me feel like a mermaid and in this tie dye Forever21 top it completely made me feel like The Little Mermaid!
And the cut outs on this thing are super rad! Although wearing it to work is kind of risky, but roaming around in it in my house is always fun too! :)
How's all your guy's day going? Oh HAPPY MONDAY! A new week in a new month!

A Day Full of Activity
Hello hello Sunshiners! How are you all? Hopefully swell! Now this post is just a recap on July 4th, mostly because I liked my outfit and I need to share some fireworks pictures somewhere! First off something incredible happened .. I HELP MY FIRST BABY! My little cousin who is like a year old maybe, gosh it was so terrifying! Can you imagine the guilt of dropping it? Well that was enough anxiety for me, I kept calling over her mother to come pick her up because I did not trust myself!
I wore my marvelous American Apparel shorts, black muscle tee from Forever21, this red flannel from Forever21, and of course no surprise, my boots from Forever21.
I'm kind of obsessed with the whole "tie the flannel around your waist" thing that is totally a throwback and I am beyond happy it has come back in style! It's just an extra OOMPH to your outfit, especially since most of the time I just wear black. Plus if you happen to eat a lot that day, it covers the food baby!
Now my favorite part was the fireworks of course and my camera had unfocused so I got this rad brokeh type fireworks! Definitely reminded me of Disneyland, wish they would of played some Disney music! All in all it was a good HOT day! I ended up swimming and just relaxing, let's just say a non-work day is always fun for me!
I also filmed AND uploaded a new video on 3 different outfit ideas for the beach because I know it seems simple, but planning what to wear to the beach can be hard, I went last week and my outfit was not very great (as you can tell by the lack of ootd that day). So definitely take a look :)
Can we always drool over how amazing that like pastel pink fuzzy sweater is!? It's my sister and it literally is awesome, yet very itchy and sheds everywhere! Regardless, it was way adorable and made me miss winter!
... FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUZZZZY!
Anyway, have a sunny day and let me know down below what fireworks are your favorite? Mine are the smiley faces!

30 Days of Healthy Fail ?
Good morning Sunshiners! Wow it's been awhile! I'm going to try to post more often because I just love blogging, but you know how life gets! So sometimes I have to choose between youtube and a blog post. Anyway, I today's post is how I totally failed at my "30 Days of Healthy Challenge", which if you don't follow me on instagram (@alexasunshine83), then basically I was going to post something everyday that was healthy for 30 days because it takes 30 days to start a habit and I really need to have a habit of working out and eating right because I have been feeling miserable (my body not my attitude). Sadly, due to sickness I was unable to complete it and after beating myself up for it, I was like "hey ya know, it happens!" So know I'm going to try to start it up again, but on here! I may not post everyday, but I'll try putting like 3 days worth of healthy in one post.
This is just to inspire everyone to take care of themselves and I know I feel 100% when I exercise and eat right! When it comes to eating right, everybody has a different meaning for it, for me it's not eating granola, as many nuts, frozen yogurt, and protein bars (I know weird stuff?), but I have Celiac Disease so my "junk food" isn't really junk food. I just need more of a structure and I miss vegetables so much! Plus exercise makes me feel like I can do anything that day! So yeah, who knows if it's gonna stick, but I'm going to try because I remember one time in my life I was exercising everyday and eating so good and I felt beyond wonderful! I was literally the happiest I have ever been! So hoping to get that going again.
If you have any tips for me, please share :) we're all in this together !

KROQ WEENIE ROAST EXPERIENCE
OMG OMG OMG OMG SUNSHINERS! BEST DAY OF MY FRICKEN LIFE !!!!
Wow, just wow.
KROQ Weenie Roast was the best concert I have ever been to! Their lineup was insane and literally, those 9 1/2 hours went by so fast! Here's who played:
The highlights for me were OF COURSE taking a picture with Dan Smith (from Bastille). Honestly, I feel silly for being so happy, but I don't care! As you can tell I was majorly fangirling!
Look at his security, I feel like that guy is saying, "BEWARE there's this blonde goober being weird by Dan!" I am beyond thankful that he'd even go in the crowd and he went on our side, like WHAT!
A couple of other highlights were Capital Cities! They were absolutely amazing and their trumpet player became my new hero, he absolutely killed it! I officially need to go to their own concert because I am totally a huge fan of their sound!
The Neighbourhood of course wowed me and made me so excited to see them July 24th! They just have such a great sound, it's interesting how even though their music isn't like JUMP UP AND DOWN AND PARTY, it still gets you pumped and of course Jesse Rutherford (lead singer) personality is awesome, he has this cool guy vibe, but also dangerous covered in tattoos F you kind of attitude.
I do have to mention The 1975 because not only did Dr. Drew introduce them, but literally every girl completely pushed one another just to get close. Matty is a funny guy, like he definitely has that cool guy vibe as well, more like he can wear a girls Forever21 "DRUGS" with a big x on it and yet sing songs about drugs and still make you want to be his best friend. His voice too is way awesome, although I couldn't understand much because that accent is thick! At one point a girl threw her shirt on stage and he just looked at it and said "thanks for the shirt, I mean it has literally nothing to do with me, like you just took off your shirt and gave it to me, like that's it." Then somebody gave him roses, which was quite rad. All in all, i think I became a true 1975 fan!
There's was a major twist in events when American Authors came on and I realized how much I love them! When I've listened to them in the past I wasn't too like "omg i love them" kind of thing, but Zac Barnette's (lead singer) personality kind of reminds me of Panic At the Disco's Brendon Urie! Very upbeat and super outgoing attitude and he made me feel really positive! Not only with the song "Believer" and "Best Day of My Life", but also him just talking to the crowd and about how he went to the Weenie Roast back in the day and how surreal it is to be on the stage now and just to follow your dreams. Plus he's quite good looking! Honestly, most of the artists were ripped, like, how can I get that?? Also James Adam Shelley rocked the banjo, so I mean, kind of obsessed with them now!
Phantogram was kind of a disappointment, which was way sad because I love "Fall In Love" by them, but honestly that's kind of the only song I do like and after seeing them live that fact definitely was true. Although Sarah Barthel is like the coolest, she kept saying "Hello LA" and we were in Irvine, but then like their sound just didn't do too great with the crowd and didn't sound good, they were having some instrument problems, but the only song that got the crowd going was "Fall in Love". Other than that, there was nothing special. I did get to the very front though, so I got to enjoy that song to the fullest!
Now let's talk Fall Out Boy! Wow, like come on, they played Sugar We're Goin' down, DANCE DANCE, and Thanks for the Memories and if you use to completely rock out to those back in the day then you can understand my excitement! They sound exactly the same and completely got the crowd on their feet and even Pete Wentz ran through the crowd during "My Songs know what you did in the dark" and he also gave an inspiring speech to never let anyone bring you down and always go for your dreams.
Foster the People was incredible! Absolutely incredible! I was a tad scared only because I've never thought of their music as like jump around music and my friend who saw them a day at before 91x Fest said they weren't good live, but they definitely blew her mind! Plus their graphics rocked the house and their lights completely got us all pumped and oh my goodness I want to completely listen to all their songs! It kind of reminded me of a disco and Mark Fosters voice is absolutely brilliant! Very very strong!
We didn't see Beck only because I had listen to them on spotify and their music just wasn't my jam, but apparently I had asked somebody how he was and they said they were great live, but we had gone to this like dance party down that was down from the Amphitheatre (which was crazy awesome!), although I didn't realize how silly us Americans are, like there were the typical blonde California girls on stage completely grinding on eachother thinking they were the absolutely shizzzle, but actually looked super retarded. Yet, the DJ played some great jams and my friend and I were going crazy! Then this little kid completely shocked the crowd with his swag. We all basically went in a circle around him while he danced his little heart out!
The best part (other than Dan Smith walking next to me) was AVICCI! Wow. Now that was seriously the best thing ever, I basically felt like I was at a rave, but more innocent and not as crazy, but almost the same thing! Everybody had glow sticks (that were apparently free and I couldn't find the guy so I didn't get any) and AVICCI's mixes completely took over! Like he had fire, sparklers, and I guess it's called smoke? I don't even know! It was just the BEST! That's what absolutely made it the best day ever! During that I really didn't want it to end! The music completely took control and there was one point I was so tired and was about to like sit down because I had a major head ache and calf cramp, but I was like NO THIS IS THE ONLY CHANCE YOU'RE GONNA GET TO JUMP UP AND DOWN AND DANCE LIKE A MANIAC SO LIVE IT TO IT'S FULLEST .... and I did! I know can still barely move, but completely worth it.
Oh and did I mention the tan lines my friend and I got? Yeah.. brutal ..
I was really scared to go to the Weenie Roast since it was completely out of my comfort zone, but wow, I am totally thankful I did and will definitely be going again!
Definitely watch my KROQ WEENIE ROAST VLOG! Dan Smith makes a cameo :}

Tips on After Graduation
Hey Sunshiners! Happy almost June and almost summer, yay! Quite crazy how fast life goes sometimes, yet can be incredibly slow at the same time, but keeping yourself busy and planning things makes it all good. Talking about time going fast, many Seniors are either graduated or going to be graduating in the upcoming weeks and it reminds me that one year ago I was going through the same thing. It's crazy even thinking about everything that has happened in that year and reminds me of all the things I haven't accomplished yet. After going through this year though, I've made many mistakes and have kind of been all over the place, basically screwed myself over in a lot of ways, but I want to share some encouraging words that may help you after you've graduated and start living life as an adult.
Whether you're going straight into a University, Community College, Vocational School, or taking a Gap year, there's many things that you should keep in mind because know the decisions you make will ultimately affect the rest of your life, yes, quite deep I know, but that's why I'm here, to ensure you it's all going to be okay!
#1
So, you've gotten the diploma. Still in your cap and gown and you think to yourself, "now what?" Well take a deep breath and make an inspiration board to keep yourself on track of what you want to accomplish in the next few years and really what you're shooting for and it helps you feel inspired to do what you love, even if it's a bunch of photos from a magazine, those photos may have a deeper meaning.
#2
That summer after graduating do as much as possible! Dance, laugh, and just be happy because that is the last true summer of being a kid since graduating is still fresh. Also, if possible, go to disneyland and enjoy be a kid. Just because you've graduated doesn't mean you have to completely grow up and Disneyland will help you kind of relax because it's easy to get stressed after graduating. Also enjoy Disneyland to the fullest, get face paint and wear a tutu!
#3
If you are going to school after graduation then I suggest being as organized as possible! Don't leave anything til the end and stay on track, whether it's buying books, registering for classes, or even just checking your schools website for updates, just remind yourself how important it is to remember that you are going to be going back to school in a sense and those years are going to need some serious focus.
#4
Now school should be your priority, but so is the need for money (unless your daddy is paying for everything, but like come on that only happens in movies!), so try to find one where your employer will work with you, that's why starting in the summer might be more beneficial rather than starting during the school year because it gives them those months to get to know you and begin to create a name for yourself, either making them want to give you a flexible schedule or depending on your performance maybe not wanting you at all haha
#5
Now deciding on your major could of happened in the earlier months or maybe you still haven't decided, it's completely okay! I felt like I needing to know my major to be able to care, but honestly, not a good idea! Get motivation by knowing when you do find out your major, you will have at least finished classes that you had to take either way. So stay determined to still get them done and actually go to class, just because nobody cares if you're there doesn't mean you shouldn't be there. Just take those 3 months before school to get focused on why you're going to school so then you have a purpose for doing the homework and going there.
#6
Plan things during the school year that'll help you to relax, so many people become so stressed so whether it's concerts, hangouts with friends, or even a pamper day and have a hobby that you do on a regular basis because although school is important, living your life is just as important and making memories will help you figure out your future big time!
#7
Another one is cut yourself some slack, you're going to make mistakes, whether it's with school or just life in general, but look back and see how those mistakes have helped you develop the person you are because that's when we really learn who we are and if you look at them as something negative then you're going to have a negative life. Take a breath and just do the best you possibly can do!
#8
Finally do it for yourself, not other people. Your decisions and schooling shouldn't be pressured by others, whether it's friends or family, remembering that you're going to school because you want to live your dreams will help you stay on track where focusing on the pressure from others can leave you with a rebellious attitude and cause you to basically say "F#$& THIS" and ruin something you actually wanted to do. That's the biggest lesson I've learned. Know yourself. Know what you handle and don't lose yourself in the hussel and bussel of growing up! That's why the first semester I feel like you should take as easy as possible because it's something new and you really don't know what to expect and taking on too much can cause major damage!
